MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
May/June 2005

Since our last newsletter, the Par Tee Girls 2005 season really kicked into gear with a swing clinic and 2 tournaments!

If you missed the swing clinic, let me recap and hopefully we'll get you to come to the next one! We had a good group of about 12 at the Presidio Golf Course driving range. Dan Schwabe started off with some general tips about upper body rotation and club impact on the ball. Then everyone had the opportunity to spend a few minutes individually with Dan - he taped each person's swing so we could actually watch our swings and where we could improve. Wow - I found a whole lot in my swing to work on!

Our first official tournament of the year was on April 10th at Dublin Ranch. A short course with several par threes, the course proved to be challenging to all. A full group of 24 players showed up on this beautiful day. Thanks Julie F. for putting together the bags of snacks, candy, tees, and more for every player! And congratulations to our winners!
