About the President's Cup
President’s Cup Scoring and Rules
Overview: The President’s Cup scoring is based on a system that rewards points from the lowest net scores to the highest net scores of each official ParTee Girl Tournament. The person with the most points accumulated from all the tournaments in each calendar year is the winner of the President’s Cup.
The final results should reflect which golfer had the best performance relative to their handicap in regular ParTee Girl golf tournaments for the tournament year of March through November.
Advantage should be given to golfers that play in the most tournaments.
Points awarded should be consistent from tournament to tournament regardless of conditions of play or difficult of course.
Advantage should be given to golfers that do better in tournaments with a higher number of competitors.
The system awards 100 points to the golfer with the lowest net score in the tournament; points are awarded in descending increments to the rest of the golfers relative to their finish and the total number of golfers (playing with handicaps) in the tournament. Here is a brief explanation of how points are awarded and the formula for calculating the number of points per player for each tournament.
100 points divided by the number of players in the tournament = point scale used for that tournament.
Example 1: 20 players = 100 points/20 players for 5.0
Example 2: 25 players = 100 points/24 players for 4.0
Example 3: 30 players = 100 points/30 players for 3.3
1st Place Low net in each tournament = 100 points
2nd Place points are awarded as follows (using above examples):
Example 1: second place = 95 points or 100 - 5
Example 2: second place = 96 points or 100 - 4
Example 3: second place = 96.7 points or 100 – 3.3
3rd Place points are awarded as follows (using above examples):
Example 1: third place = 90 points or 95 - 5
Example 2: second place = 92 points or 96 - 4
Example 3: second place = 93.4 points or 96.7 – 3.3
Points are awarded through this subtraction process as described above for all players who participated in the tournament. All golfers are awarded at least 20 points.

Rules for determining the winner:
Performance in all regular tournaments would be measured.
Points would be awarded to each participant based upon relative performance to all other competitors in the tournament per the above example.
The ParTee Girl Golfer with the most total points for the year would be awarded the President’s Cup.
